30 May ECOBONUS 65%
How to take advantage of it for boiler replacement
Replace your boiler and take advantage of the 65% ecobonus? Today you can.
The new Budget Law has allowed the renewal of ecobonuses and thus the Boiler Bonus. Let’s see what it consists of and what are the requirements to access it.
Until 2024 it will be possible to take advantage of the 65 percent deduction of expenses incurred for the purchase of an energy-efficient boiler from personal income tax (IRPEF) or corporate income tax (IRES). So it will be possible to take advantage of a tax deduction or take advantage of a credit transfer or invoice discount at the time of purchase. This bonus can be accessed by property owners, tenants and comodatari to replace an old generation boiler with a condensing boiler. There are no ISEE limits to qualify for the deduction, the amount of which varies depending on the type of boiler to be installed.
The 65 percent deduction is available to those who replace winter air conditioning systems with condensing boilers of at least class A, but the installation of advanced thermoregulation valves of class V, VI or VII will also be needed to obtain the discount. Specifically, these are:
– Class V: modulating room thermostat, that is, one that varies the water temperature based on the ambient temperature;
– Class VI: temperature control unit or environmental sensor, which changes the water temperature based on both indoor and outdoor temperature;
– Class VIII: environmental control unit with multiple sensors.
In case you do not want to replace these other elements, you can still access the deduction but 50%.
If you opt to claim the rebate directly on the invoice or through the transfer of credit, the beneficiary of the deduction must communicate his willingness electronically through the website of the Revenue Agency. In case of works related to condominiums, the administrator is in charge of the procedure (provided that all condominiums have opted for the assignment or rebate).
